Learn to reduce your food waste and help divert organic waste from our local landfills!
🌄 Nature Hike: Anza-Borrego Desert State Park (Glorietta Wash)
When: Saturday, March 15th, from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

This hike offers an escape from some of the more frequently visited areas around Borrego Springs. Wildflowers can be found in abundance if the rains have been kind. Some boulder scrambling is required on this hike. This is a difficult 4-mile hike with an elevation change of 1250 feet including some strenuous challenges.
🦅 Wingin' It: Up Close with Real Raptors

Meet Hawkeye, the Harris’s hawk, and Mariah, the American Kestrel falcon, in Unshelved from 10 AM-2 PM. Learn about regional birds of prey and the art of falconry from their handler volunteer Master Falconer, Dr. Bob Gordon, and Canyoner George Varga.
